"All people are living histories - which is why History Matters."
Thank you
for visiting!
The Hector Historical Center, a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, is a resource center for the historical information on the people, schools, businesses, churches and cemeteries, properties, sports and veterans of Hector, Minnesota and the surrounding communities. This information includes photos, memorabilia and historical documents.
Here at the center, we strive to discover and preserve our local history using various resources including old newspapers, property tax books, written historical documents, maps, photos and conducting one-on-one interviews. We accept donations, whether monetary or memorabilia, as well as items on loan, and take pride in sharing these resources and memorabilia with you, the public.
While the history center does not have regular hours of operation, someone is usually close by to let you in or you can call the number below to make an appointment.
Thank you for visiting our website and be sure to "friend" us on Facebook for access to shared photos and information.
