The Hector Historical Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization set up to collect, preserve and exhibit public records, materials, personal property, photos and memorabilia. Volunteers are working to organize, research and file historical documents. We provide a computer dedicated for public access to Ancestry.com, and we offer assistance with research for you on your ancestry, upon request.
The center also serves as a public educational center by providing a place and the resources for citizens to get information about the local area and its past citizens.
Our goal is to enrich both present and future generations by preserving our historical past.
